Bleu and his fellow community cats, known as the Boardwalk Cats, are fixtures of the Atlantic City Boardwalk in New Jersey, living among the surf and sand in the hidden spaces beneath the wooden walkways.
Since 2000, Alley Cat Allies has cared for the Boardwalk Cats through our Boardwalk Cats Project®, a city-endorsed Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program. Locals and tourists alike adore Bleu and the other Boardwalk Cats, who are seen as friends and neighbors and are fiercely protected by the community.
